Advanced Fondant Techniques Classes


These classes are great follow-up classes for the fondant 101, and assumes that you have a basic working knowledge of working with fondant. In different classes you will learn one of these individual techniques - quilling, caning, modern textures, marbling, mold making, bas relief, etc. There will be a brief refresher on how to level your cake, ice your cake, and cover your cake in fondant. Each student will leave with the cake that he/she creates in class.

Marbled Fondant Cake Class

Students in this class will learn how to color fondant, how to marble fondant, how to cover a cake in fondant, and how to cut and form fondant ruffle flowers and leaves.

Fondant Quilling Cake Class

Students in this class will learn how to color fondant, how to cover a cake in fondant, how to stiffen fondant,and how to roll ribbons of fondant into different shapes to create a floral pattern.

Fondant Caning Cake Class

Students in this class will learn how to color fondant, how to cover a cake in fondant, how to stiffen fondant,and how to apply the clay caning technique to fondant to create floral embellishments for your cake.

Textured Fondant Cake Class

Students in this class will learn how to color fondant, how to cover a cake in fondant, how to stiffen fondant, and how to
achieve different textures using impression mats, rolling pins, stencils, and molds to create a fun & modern patterned cake.
